Vampirish — Film Pitch

Vampirish

She's vampire-ish. She's Irish. And she's out for blood.

Two trailer trash kids. One old book. One very bad decision. Just like that, something ancient and terrible wakes up in a forgotten corner of rural America. Her name is Vampirish. And she hasn't eaten in centuries.

Rural America  —  Present day  —  Population: decreasing.

The book had been in a basement for thirty years. The language was unreadable — to anyone with any sense. A few badly pronounced words later, something that has been sleeping for centuries wakes up hungry, disoriented, and six thousand miles from home. Out here there are dirt roads, dark fields, and nowhere near enough places to hide.

When a group of young friends rolls into town — road trip, cold beer, no signal — they have no idea what's already been set loose. What begins as a night to remember becomes a desperate game of cat and mouse, as Vampirish picks them off one by one. There's always a final girl. There has to be. Doesn't there?

A blood-soaked love letter to 80s slasher horror — practical effects, gut-punch kills, and a villain born from something far older than Hollywood. Part An American Werewolf in London — inverted. Part Texas Chain Saw Massacre — with fangs. Part Evil Dead — but she didn't need a cabin. A true horror fan's horror film, built to launch a cult icon.
